The NJVID Video Center uses the Lifesize Video Center to enable live streaming of events, presentations, web seminars and departmental meetings as well as share data, charts and images that originate from a video conference.
Automatic adaptive streaming optimizes live and on-demand videos for every viewer—desktop, laptop, tablet or phone. The viewing device automatically selects the best playback rate based on bandwidth conditions, thus ensuring a quality viewing experience with minimal delays or buffering.

Importing your Video Center videos into NJVID

Manual process:
Video Center users have the option to download the recorded videos from the vcenter web interface
These videos can then be uploaded through the NJVID admin interface.
Since the video are already in MPEG-4 format, the videos are uploaded without any loss of quality or conversion.

Automatic process (NJVID Integration):
The NJVID Software development team is working on integrating the lookup of videos and one-click ingest to the repository from the video center. This feature should be available by Oct 15, 2012.
