Dropbox (www.dropbox.com) is a good alternative to users who want to upload large files and do not have access to a FTP server. The steps below demonstrate how users can obtain this link from Dropbox for their videos.

creation and maintenance of content on your Dropbox account.
Steps for obtaining a download link on Dropbox
Log-in to your Dropbox account from your browser. Your directories and folders will be shown..
Navigate to the folder/directory where the video you wish to upload on-to NJVID is located. Scroll your
mouse pointer to the right end of the video that you wish to upload and click the "Share Link" icon.
Close the dialog box "Share this video" that opens up as a pop-up over the video.
Scroll your mouse pointer to the "Download" button on the top right hand side of the webpage window
Right Click on the Download button and select the copy link address option from the list of available actions.
In the NJVID upload screen, click on the HTTP/FTP tab and paste this link
If you are uploading media content in a course through a LLearning Management System such as Blackboard, Moodle, Sakai, Canvas etc. enter this data in the field shown below.
The resource will now be added to the specified collection and will be displayed accordingly after the encoding process is complete.
