Using Course Copy in Blackboard
Modified on: Thu, Jun 30, 2016 at 9:14 PM
Blackboard administrators can use the course copy functionality available in Blackboard to copy the course contents into a new course. The NJVID building block is enabled for this feature and thus supports this functionality.
However please note that once a course has been copied over, while the media embedded within course pages of the old course will copied, the media will not be available to the students of the new course till the instructor activates the media.
To activate the media for students the instructor has to simply visit any one course content page where the media is located. Once visited, all the media that may be embedded within the course content pages will be available in their respective areas and available for the students to view.
The instructor/course administrator will have to perform a similar action for any Media Browser tool/tool link that is added to the course.
